ABOUT ME
Having filled several full-time in-house positions, for over twelve years, with a number of fashion manufacturers, both in Romania and in the UK, I have gained invaluable experience and specialist knowledge in textiles manufacturing, transportation of goods, customs procedures as well as business correspondence, contracts, company presentations and letters of intent. I was also part of a team implementing an ERP software, working closely with the I.T. team on producing bilingual user guides.
After gaining my professional translation qualification in April 2007 with a Distinction in Literature, I embarked on a full-time freelance career. The Institute of Linguists’ Diploma in Translation is a postgraduate level equivalent qualification, internationally recognised and accredited by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority. It was also entered into the National Qualifications Framework at Level 7 (postgraduate level).
I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists and, as a published literary translator, member of the Society of Authors and the Translators Association in UK.
